Early morning emails

I received one of your early morning emails again today. The personal kind, with a rather intimate content to say the least.

What’s going through your head? What is this you’re starting?

First were the terms of endearment, now I’m seeing an increase in frequency of your personal notes.

It did make me smile — reminded me of the time when you would do that almost everyday. 

But it also confused me. I’m working on letting you go, you see.

What is it that you want from me?
